WE ARE LIVING IN AN AGE OF SELF-SUFFICIENCY WHERE PARENTS, ESPECIALLY MOMS, ARE URGED TO DO IT ALL.
Being judged on everything from how you birth, to how you choose to feed your baby, and how well your baby sleeps (or doesn't sleep!) piles on worry and guilt to an already exhausting time. Even the vulnerable act of asking for help is scrutinized. Adjusting to life with a newborn baby has never been easy- and that will never change. There once was a time whenever a baby was born, the women in villages would drop everything to go physically and emotionally care for the new mom and baby. Help was abundant! Today, parents have a baby and 24-72 hours later, they are wheeled out of the hospital to their vehicle and wished the best. That is where we, your IBP postpartum doulas & infant care specialists, enter the picture! Our sweet spot is balancing the old ways of providing support with current know-how and practical knowledge.

Step 1: Fill out contact form
Welcome to Little Gifts Doula Co.
Start by filling out the contact form on our website and our team will review your information and schedule a call with 48 hours.
Step 2: Phone call with the office
An initial welcome/intake phone call. This is where we learn about your specific needs and chat about the type of care you're looking for - prenatal, overnights or daytime - and how long you hope to have care. If you’re not sure on what’s best for you we can help with that too.
Step 3: Decide on a package
LGDC offers a variety of packages and the option to build your own custom package. Our client favorites are “Gifted”, “Keepsake, “Token”, “Blessing” and “Treasure” (all packages breakdowns can be found listed above)
Step 4: Meet your doula(s)
You will be matched with the doula we think would best fit your package, schedule and family, here you will get the chance to view your doula’s experience profile, chat with her, ask all of your burning questions and make the decision to say Yes! to your match or see another.
(Doula interview can be virtual or home visit)
Step 5: Make it official
Once you are happy with your doula match, we will confirm availability and send over your proposal. Clients have the option of paying off in full up front, or paying the retainer (applied to the back half of care) followed by weekly payments after care begins. After the contract is signed, invoice is paid, and questionnaire is completed, your care is locked in with us!
(We accept FSA, HSA, Maven and Carrot clients)
Step 6: Begin care
Postpartum: you'll contact your doula directly sharing the exciting news that your baby is here! We know babies can come both early or late so your postpartum care start date will be adjusted when baby arrives.
Prenatal / Nanny - your doula will be there to assist you bright and early on her first scheduled day
Birth - your doula will contact you directly to set up your prenatal visits and childbirth education classes, you can maintain constant communication with your doula or contact her directly when labor is beginning (birth services only available as a bonus for postpartum packages over 150 hours)
